Located on the beautiful island of Bali, our zoo is home to more than 350 creatures.The first and the only zoo in Bali. The perfect wildlife conservatory for the finest collection of Indonesian and other countries exotic animals. We’d love for you to come and spend a day with us to experience the beauty of our surroundings, learn about our awesome animals, and hopefully create memories that you will cherish for a long time.

The Bali Zoo takes visitors on jungle trips where they can admire the tropical flora and fauna and get a total ecological and cultural experience. Our daily program includes feeding of the lions, crocodiles and tigers, and if it’s cute and cuddly that you’re after – why not head down to our petting area and snuggle with a baby monkey? All of our inhabitants are fully cared for by our resident veterinarian, and we are also a bird flu free environment.

Note: If you do not want to spend the entire day at the Zoo, you still can visit Bali Zoo as a part of the “Kintamani Tour: Volcano, Art Village” itinerary.

What can I see?

• Entering the exotic world of fauna, visitors are welcome warm repeated song of Siamangs, a lazy gigantic crocodile, and the biggest lizard of the world, the Komodo Dragon.
• The songs of various kinds of birds, such as the Bali Starlings, peacocks, cassowaries, cockatoos and many other Asian birds are greeting visitors while walking along the paths with lush tropical plantations and soft sound of the fountains drops from the surrounding ponds.
• Explore our finest collection of deer, kangaroos, reptiles, primates, tigers and many other species.

What can I do?

• Taking photos with our tame animals (reptiles and birds)
  Amuse yourselves with several tame animals such as cockatoos, hornbils, iguana, python snake twisting around your shoulder with the beautiful park and ponds background. Join our daily nature education shows and flying bird attractions. Daily shows are on at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 4:00 pm and 6:30 pm for the “Night At The Zoo” program.
• Feeding
  You can buy food for the animals at the tickt counter to feed wallabies, deer, orangutan, camels, pelicans and others. To feed crocodile, tigers and lions yu will be accompanied by our staff.
• Camel or Pony Horseback Ride
  Especially for children with a maximum weight of 60 kg. Your children will be escorted by our staff along the selected riding route; either short, medium or a zoo round trip.
• Kiddy Park
  Have fun at our little petting zoo! Let your children pat our domestic and baby animals and learn more about their behaviors. Don’t miss our playground. A park designed for your kids and family. Let your children play around and relax while enjoying the Bali Zoo nature environment.
• Gifts and Sourvenirs
  You can purchase special Bali Zoo souvenirs and many other interesting gift and handicrafts at the souvenir shop inside the zoo or at the restaurant. You can also get your own photos with our tame fauna on tile.

Bali Zoo Tree Walk Adventure

Pump Up Your Adrenaline!

20 tree tops walk challenges provided for your memorable experience. This activity is SAVE for children and adult. All the activities, platforms, building materials and equipment comply with international standards. Our speciality trained guides will explain and assist you during the games. We provide company outing, team building and school group packages on any budget. Duration approximately 45 minutes.

Zoobak Trekking & Horse Cariage

..takes you to explore the famous water irigation system in Bali called “Subak”. Walk through rice paddy terraces along the river bank, visit the Subak temple and the ancient giant tree. See the villagers way of life and hand made traditional house of gold and silver smith and stone sculpture. A horse cariage await you at the temple to escort ypu back to the zoo. Lunch at our Star Bhoga restaurant followed by an animals education show. Includes: transfers, trekking, horse cariage, zoo admission, animal feeding, mineral water, lunch, animal show, insurance. Pick-up time: morning at 7:30 am – 8:00 am.

Night At The Zoo

Explore for animals under the moon light. Experience the sights and sound of the nocturnal as our guide thrills you with interesting knowledge. Highlight: Night Animal Show (6:00 pm) and Contemporary Fire Dance Show (7:30 pm). Four course dinner or a la carte dinner menu available to make your occasion more enjoyable. Includes: transfers, night zoo admission, animal show, animal feeding, fresh juice, dinner, insurance. Pick-up time: evening at 4:30 pm – 5:00 pm.
